Diosmin is a semi-synthetic flavonoid, a derivative of hesperidin. It is used to treat various vascular diseases, including hemorrhoids, varicose veins, poor blood circulation in the legs (venous stasis) and bleeding in the eyes or gums. It is also used to prevent liver toxicity. It is usually mixed with hesperidin.
