Nobiletin is one of the polymethoxy flavonoids, which has anti-hemagglutination, anti-thrombosis, anti-cancer, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, anti-cholinesterase and anti-epileptic effects; Nobiletin has a neuroprotective effect on focal cerebral ischemia, can improve the symptoms of neurological deficits and reduce the volume of cerebral infarction; modern pharmacological studies have shown that it has very good effects on promoting gastrointestinal motility, expectoration, relieving asthma, and treating gastric and duodenal ulcers.
